Kao što se u posljednje vrijeme spominjalo u medijima, Stephan Lichtsteiner napušta Arsenal.

Švicarski reprezentativac je na “Emirates” stigao prošlog ljeta iz Juventusa, ali će ipak, nakon isteka jednogodišnjeg ugovora napustiti Arsenal.

On se danas putem društvenih mreža oprostio od kluba. Istakao je da mu je veoma žao što sezona nije završena sretnim krajem, Arsenal je u finalu Lige Evrope poražen od Chelseaja, ostali su bez trofeja i plasmana u Ligu prvaka.

Dear Gunners We were close to add an important chapter to this amazing club's history. But to be close … is unfortunately not good enough. This is hard to accept. I'm very disappointed. It was our objective to bring Arsenal back on the highest international level and to win trophies. Both belong to this great club.
